Natalie Franćeska je umjetničko ime mlade Australke hrvatskog podrijetla koja je nedavno objavila slikovnicu ‘My Grandma is Like the Sea’, inspiriranu ljetovanjima na jugu Dalmacije i odnosom baka i unuka.

Natalie Franćeska is a pseudonym adopted by a young Australian woman of Croatian origin who recently published the picture book ‘My Grandma is Like the Sea’, inspired by summer vacations in the south of Dalmatia and the relationship between grandmothers and grandchildren.

My Grandma is Like the Sea available at Algebra Bookstores, ‘Stradun’ Dubrovnik

My Grandma is Like the Sea is now officially stocked in both Algebra Bookstores on Stradun in Old Town (Stari Grad), Dubrovnik.

Location: Placa 8 and Stradun 24, Dubrovnik Croatia.

There is something so special about both bookstores… the feeling of timelessness, mixture of rare finds and bestsellers, and to know that people from ALL over the world have stepped foot in here and are yet to!

On a personal level, I have photos of my great grandmother and family walking along Stradun. It is a magical place and I am told that the locals used to walk up and down the street hand in hand telling stories for hours.
